वाच्य हिन्दी व्याकरण
वाच्य क्रिया का वह रूप है, जिससे यह ज्ञात होता है कि वाक्य में कर्ता प्रधान है या कर्म अथवा भाव। क्रिया के लिंग एवं वचन उसी के अनुरूप होते हैं।
वाच्य के तीन प्रकार हैं-
- कर्तृवाच्य – कर्तृवाच्य का मुख्य बिंदु कर्ता होता है। क्रिया के लिंग तथा वचन कर्ता के लिंग और वचन के अनुसार ही होते हैं।
- कर्मवाच्य – जहाँ क्रिया का संबंध सीधा कर्म से हो तथा क्रिया का लिंग तथा वचन कर्म के अनुसार हो, उसे कर्म वाच्य कहते हैं।
- भाववाच्य -जहाँ कर्ता और कर्म की नहीं बल्कि भाव की प्रधानता हो, उस वाक्य को भाव वाच्य कहते हैं।
